Hours Of Work:- 

7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

40 Hours Per Week

My client is a leading manufacturer of paper and textiles industries, and due to growth they are looking to increase capacity within the maintenance team. They have experienced sustained growth year on year and supply and sell products globally. With a rich history of excellence spanning over 50 years, this a great opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a forward thinking, people first company. You will be working on packing equipment, cutting machines, pleating machinery and lamination equipment.

The Role of Maintenance Engineer:- 

  • To maintain all electrical and mechanical equipment on site including servicing, as well as PPM
  • To carryout electrical installation work when required for new plant, machinery, equipment (armoured cabling)
  • To carry out both reactive and planned maintenance throughout the site on a variety of machinery and equipment 
  • Fault find, Diagnose and repair (where possible)

Ideally the Maintenance Engineer will:-

  • Apprentice‑trained or equivalent, with NVQ Level 3 in electrical maintenance or installation
  • Strong fault‑finding skills and the ability to interpret schematic drawings
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment—ideally textiles or a paper mill
